Fonterra Integration
A direct feed for Monthly Suppliers Statement is now available for farmers supplying to Fonterra
Management of grazing livestock off and on farm
We’ve introduced a new feature that captures grazing events accurately and efficiently. This feature allows you to manage stock movements seamlessly and ensures your stock records reflect both "stock on farm" and "stock owned" according to your specific requirements.
Key Features:
New Non-Financial Event: Grazing
You can now create both actual and planned grazing events, ensuring accurate tracking and planning for grazing activities.
Flexible Livestock Grid
View your livestock reconciliation in two ways—Stock on Farm or Stock Owned, offering you flexibility in how you manage and review your livestock numbers.
Document storage facility: Streamline your workflow
We’ve solved a common issue for our customers—the lack of a dedicated space for storing supporting documents in Farm Focus. Previously, you could only attach documents to invoices or transactions, which didn’t work well for important files like bank statements, hire purchase agreements, or lease contracts.
With document storage, you can now securely store all your essential documents in one place, ensuring everyone both farmers and accountants have everything needed for preparing end-of-year accounts with ease.
Key Benefits:
All documents in one place: Easily store and organise files such as bank statements, hire purchase agreements, lease contracts, and more, ensuring you have everything necessary for a smooth financial workflow.
Enhanced efficiency: By centralising key documents, both you and your accountant can work more efficiently, saving valuable time during crucial accounting tasks.
Features of document storage:
Create custom folders and upload documents in PNG, PDF, CSV, and JPEG formats.
Effortlessly manage your files with the ability to rename, move, or delete folders and documents as needed.
This feature is designed to help you maintain better financial organisation, reduce paperwork clutter, and improve overall efficiency.
Document storage can be accessed via a new menu item called The Vault. The Asset Register has been relocated to The Vault for easier access and management.
Extra enhancements for everyday efficiencies
Save time and carry out day-to-day tasks on any device, anywhere and at any time. Code, match, create contacts and coding rules all available now easily from your mobile devices.
Visibility of bank account numbers: The other party's bank account number will now be visible in Bill payments, providing you with essential information at a glance.
Ability to attach documents to more items
Attaching documents to assets
This feature allows professionals to retrieve documents directly from the source, saving everyone time.
Attach documents to non-financial livestock events
You can now attach documents with additional information to non-livestock events such as if an autopsy was required for a death. This brings non-financial actual events into line with the rest of Actuals being able to attach a document to a record.
Adding attachments to a tax invoice
You can now include attachments with emailed tax invoices, like adding the power bill
when invoicing for the farm cottage electricity.
Professional partners updates
Improved workspace efficiency by streamlining access.
Batch Access : Allow admins to select multiple farms and assign them to multiple members in a single step. This avoids having to individually assign farms and users repeatedly.
Multi-Farm Access: Workspace members can request access to multiple farms in one go, sending a single request to the Workspace admin or farm owner for approval.
Boost your confidence when working with clients by getting certified.
Link from your workspace to our Certification Program: A link from the Workspace Members page through to register and start the certification process.
View Certification Status of Workspace Members: Badges in the Workspace that show their certification, adding credibility to members when interacting with clients.
Streamlined report editing for increased efficiency
Enhancements to office efficiency and time-saving have been made by direct navigation from a coding line in the GST, and AAR reports to the corresponding invoice or transaction. You can now edit the coding line directly within the report, save changes, and seamlessly return to your place in the report.
Enhancements for greater efficiency and visibility in the AAR
These valuable improvements, requested by accountants, have been implemented to enhance visibility on coded lines, streamline workflows, and save time. Here's how these features make the AAR process more efficient:
View invoice dates on coded lines in sections 5a and 5b: Quickly see the invoice date directly on coded lines, making it easier to review closing accounts payable (debtors) and accounts receivable (creditors). This added detail helps you process everything more accurately and efficiently.
Hide inactive bank accounts in the AAR
You asked we listened. Inactive bank accounts can now be hidden in the AAR to reduce the amount of space taken up primarily in Section 1: Summary and Section 3: Bank Statement SummaryIdentify coded lines with attachments: No need to open each coded line to check for attachments anymore. You’ll be able to spot which lines have attachments at a glance, speeding up your review process and saving time.
All these updates are tailored to help you work smarter and more efficiently, giving you the tools to stay on top of your tasks with ease.
