The chat bubble might not be working due to your security software blocking the pop-ups. Learn how to troubleshoot the issue here.

Here at Farm Focus, we take your security very seriously so that your information is protected at all times. Therefore, we don't recommend switching off your security capabilities.

The chat bubble function might not be working for you depending on the type of browser you use and the Security software installed on your device.

  1. You can still access our help articles, feedback channel, and numbers to contact our support team (0800 888 080) by clicking on the Question Mark icon.

  2. Even though you can see the Chat bubble on your screen you might not be able to click on it.

Are you on a trusted domain?

Farm Focus uses a third party called Intercom for our in-app messaging and portal for our Help Centre. Some security software does not allow these pop-ups from third parties to show.

One of the Security extensions that tends to block these is Malwarebytes.

How can I change my Security Preferences?

If you do want to allow the chat bubble to function on your computer, you change your security preferences through the following process:

  1. Locate the 3 menu dots at the top right hand of your browser. Click on More Tools and then for the Extensions option. (The 3 dots might be 3 lines depending on the web browser you use - Firefox, Chrome, Edge, etc).

  2. This will take you to a webpage that lists the extensions that are installed on your computer. Click on the Malwarebytes (or similar security software) option.

  3. Scroll down to the section for Site Access and select the option to allow the extension to access data on a specific site.

  4. Type in the site in full: www.farmfocus.nz for the app and click to Add. You can also add www.farmfocus.co.nz to your home page if you wish to have the chat function available from our home page as well.

  5. Refresh your browser. The chat bubble will now be active. Click on the chat bubble icon and the pop-up message will allow you to send a direct message to our team, or search our Help Center for specific articles.

    This messaging will also keep you informed of any new features released, online training registration links, or the option to send us feedback for new features you'd like to see in Farm Focus.

    Use the down arrow to reduce the bubble back down.
