PaySauce payroll integration

Streamline your farm business, maximise your time and keep up to date with the latest payroll standards with our PaySauce integration

Updated over 4 months ago

If you have a Standard or Premium subscription with PaySauce, wage-related information such as wages paid to employees and PAYE paid to IRD can be automatically fed into your Farm Focus farm business.

PLEASE NOTE:
The Simple package does not allow for direct integration with Farm Focus.

Each time you process payroll, the details will be posted directly into your Farm Focus farm business as an invoice, waiting to be matched to the corresponding bank transaction.

To set up the automated feed, there are three actions you need to complete:

  1. In PaySauce - complete one-time setup

  2. In Farm Focus - confirm the connection to your farm business

  3. In PaySauce - map wage-related codes from your Farm Focus code list

Alternatively, you can set up the connection from your Farm Focus farm business.  However, you’ll find it’s easier to set up from PaySauce.

The following video tutorial walks you through how to set up the link between Farm Focus and PaySauce.  Alternatively, you can follow the instructions below.

Step 1. Complete one-time setup

Once you have logged into PaySauce:

  1. Click on Settings.

  2. From the menu, select Integration.

  3. Click on the Farm Focus tab.

  4. Click on Connect to Farm Focus.

Step 2. Confirm the connection in Farm Focus

You'll be redirected to the Farm Focus login page. Once you've logged in:

  1. Select the farm business you want to connect with PaySauce.

  2. Click on Allow Access.

Step 3. Map wage-related codes from Farm Focus

Once you've connected PaySauce to your Farm Focus farm business, you'll be taken back to PaySauce to finish the setup.

The final step involves mapping your wage-related codes from Farm Focus so that invoices from PaySauce arrive in your farm business pre-coded.

  1. Click on Settings.

  2. Select Invoices from the menu.

  3. Go to the Accounts section and apply the right expense codes to the different elements of the pay details.

Troubleshooting

On occasion, an invoice in your Needs Action screen may appear fully coded but unbalanced. You will be alerted by an unbalanced token. Simply click the invoice and balance it.
