Learn where in Farm Focus you can allow for changes in your land area

Updated over a week ago

There are 3 areas in Farm Focus where you can adjust your total effective hectares and see how this influences your reports.

Amend your effective hectares in your Settings:

  1. Go to your Settings > Farm Business information. Scroll down to the Effective Farm Area section.

  2. Drop down the arrow to view previous years. You can overtype the information here, and change this figure from year to year. This will be the area that drives your effective area in your reports.

Amend your effective hectares in your EFS (Economic Farm Surplus) Report:

  1. In your Reports > EFS Report you can use the Adjustments feature to adjust the effective farm area.

This will allow you to change the farm area to see the impact a change in area will have on your results. This is a handy function if your land area changes within the financial year, or if you are viewing Draft plans that have different land areas in the scenarios.

Amend your effective hectares in your Livestock Trading Report:

  1. In your Reports > Livestock Trading Report you can use the Adjustments feature to adjust the effective farm area. This is useful if you are viewing the report by Management Tag and have different farm areas to review.
