This article outlines the role of a standard member in a workspace.

Overview

Workspaces enables rural professionals to better serve their Farm Focus customers by seamlessly and easily managing their Farm Focus accounts in a secure, auditable, and trusted way.

Workspaces give rural professionals such as accountancy, bank and farm consultancy businesses direct control over who can access Farm Focus farms within their organisation and to what level. The rural professional creates a workspace. The subscription admin (usually the farm owner) permits their farm to be part of a workspace. (The subscription admin is the person who pays for the Farm Focus subscription and is usually the farm owner.) Access to farms in that workspace is then controlled by the rural professional organisation or more precisely the workspace administrator in the rural professional organisation.

The two roles of workspace members:

Administrator (Admin): The person who created the workspace will automatically become an Admin. Every workspace must have at least one administrator. The role provides the user full access to all workspace functions. This role can add and remove farms and members from the workspaces and control which team members get access to what farms and at what level.

To learn more about the access levels click here.

Standard: A workspace can have as many standard members as it needs. Standard members can view all the farms that have joined the workspace but are only permitted to work on farms that they have been granted access to.

A standard member of a workspace can:

  • open and work in farms to which you have access

  • view all notifications relating to your farms

  • view your level of access to each farm

  • view all farms that are part of the workspace

  • view all pending farms

  • search for farms

  • view all members

  • view all pending members

  • search for members

All workspace members must have a Farm Focus login. Find out how to create your own login.
